The Created... Music Project ("CMP") was launched as a youth praise band in October 2005. One youth leader and five kids got on stage and rocked a United Methodist District Youth ("UMDY") event because there was no money to book a band. Genesis 1:27 says, "So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." (NIV) The "dot-dot-dot" in Created... signifies that since we are created in His image, we must be created for something more, and it's up to us to make the RIGHT CHOICE TODAY.
MUSIC
CMP has finished its first song book, titled River Stone, named after an original song by original lead guitar player Dustin Craig. Dustin explains that his inspiration for this song was sitting on a rock by a river, watching the water flow. He saw how the water wears down the rock, like God's love will wear down the hardest of hearts. River Stone features over 60 Christian rock, praise, worship and original works. Shadows is the title of the next song book in progress, and is named after another Dustin Craig original song.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
FIRST "SUMMER TOUR" 2008
The 2008 Summer "Pump It Up, Take Him In, and Praise Hard" tour featured three concerts. In addition to opening Lakewood United Methodist Church's 2008 "Rock the Park" series, Created... For His Majesty was the feature band at Crossroads Community Baptist Church, a church who provides a church home for refugees from Burma and other countries who reside in the Erie area. Some refugees have converted to Christianity; some still practice their Hindu or Buddhist religion, but all were in attendance and on their feet for final song, "How Great Is Our God" (© Chris Tomlin). The two-and-a-half hour show included three sets from the band, prayers from band members and church pastors, guest speaker David Coffey from Campus Crusade for Life, and special music in their native tongue from some refugees who have converted to Christianity. The evening also included the announcement of the "Take It Back" movement.
The final concert of the season was a Created... In The Streets edition, playing in front of Jerry Uht Park (Erie SeaWolves minor league baseball) for the fans as they approached the entrance to the park for "Church Night" with the SeaWolves. Members of the Created... Music Project sang "How Great Is Our God" for the players during batting practice prior to the game, and the SeaWolves won 11-2. We're not saying it was our serenade that helped them win, but we do want to thank the members of the team who cheered when we finished the song! After the first pitches were thrown, Created... For His Majesty presented National Anthem to a record crowd of over 6,000.
FIRST SPIN-OFF BAND ANNOUNCED MARCH 2008: CREATED... FOR HIS MAJESTY Several members of the original CMP band spun off their own youth praise band, based out of their home church of Lakewood United Methodist in Erie, PA. Because they have been the backbone of the development of the Created... Music Project, they get credit for the performances done to date: Several other UMDY events, two "Rock the Park" concerts sponsored by their home church, the Erie City Mission "2006 Day of Hope" picnic, and are credited with "Created...In The Streets" during the 2006 Hamot 10K Run in Erie, PA. They provide special music for their church on a regular basis.
FIRST CONCERT PROMOTION 2007
The Created... Music Project hosted its first concert featuring Created... (the band), Mallory Lane (now touring nationally with The Silver Ring Thing, an abstinence program - see www.thesilverringthing.com for details), and area favorite band Shudder (www.shudder219.com).
